Recently my friend has been assessed as unsuitable by ACS. He has done
dipoma in computers in year 1996. Though his qualification is considered
suitable his experience has not been considered even though he is
working for the past 7 years in the computer field. He wants to appeal &
is seeking advice. He has not applied through any agent. but has
included full job details etc as per PIM guidelines in his application.
DO you know of some web site which specifies rules under which ACS
assesses application & how it decides whether a person a suitable or not
even after references are produced.

Dear Nikhil,



Please advise your friend to directly post on this forum instead of you
mentioning incomplete details about his Rejection. If rejected on Work
experience, may be the experience has not met the critera of ACS like
duties not matching with profile, or the experience itself does not
support the qualification. For appealing you have to contact ACS. Better
to opt for experienced Migration Agent like George, Alan, Jaj etc.
