Default work visa-job change

i have work permit and from june 2007 till july 2009 and it is valid only
for one employer. i worked 1 month in this company in Vancouver and i went
back to europe because my job and accomodation were catastrophic!
now i have found better job offer in Toronto. is it possible to change the
employer and is my work visa still valid?

Nope, you need a need LMO from the HRSDC for the second employer (unless
exempt) and a new work permit issued.

Yes, but you still need the LMO and then have to apply to Vegreville for the
new work permit, which will take an additional 67 days, plus the time for
LMO, during which period you cannot work.

I don't understand, why 67 days!? My first work permit (i applied in Berlin,
Germany) was ready in 20 days! It seems it's better to apply here in Europe!
What do you think, what are the chances to get second work permit?
Thank you very much, PMM

Because that is how long Vegreville is taking. So if you get an LMO, and
you don't need a medical, get it at port of entry when you enter Canada.
