Where to renew work permit, CIC office in USA or Canada ?

Hello,everyone,

I am holding on a two-year postgraduate work permit, which will expire
very soon. My company wants to keep me, and will sponsor me further
work permit application. My question is where to renew my work permit,
either in CIC office in USA or in Vegreville, Albert? My position is in
the category for Facilitated Processing for Information Technology
Workers, and do not require proof from HRDC.

Any inputs and comments will be highly appreciated.

You apply through Vegreville but with little chance of success. Your
company will have to obtain an opinion from HRSDC for your application to
succeed.
