Sure,
the pizza is cheap here but the quality is pretty abysmal at most
places. There is such a price war over pizza that they just keep
skimping and skimping on stuff to cut the prices. I have to order it
with extra sauce and cheese to get what I consider a normal amount that
I was used to in the US. And the toppings at some of the places are
slices so thing or even just ground up (and ground up mushroom chips is
awful on pizza) to make them go farther it is just ridiculous.

Robert,

Hitler said
exactly those same words before going into Poland, am sure as we all
know, there are numerous ways of describing the foods that you were
trying to describe without offending anyone.

In this day and age, you
won't have got away with a comment like that back home mate, your wife
can laugh all she wants, but then she has to live with you. Obviously
its something you learnt from your parents.

We are used to people back
home saying...have got friends that are this and that, it doesn't mean
you like everyone that is Hindu. Next time just say what you really
mean, and yes you are spot matey, i am a reasonable person, you have to
be growing up in the eastend of London.

Enough of the thread policing
too, just because a poor lady posted a thread that has been going
without checking, doesn't give the right to give it plenty. Enough of
the BOLLOCKS GEEZER.

cheers

There's an awesome Pub in Guelph called the Penny Whistle - located
downtown, Quebec St maybe?
They do fish and chips, which I haven't tried - but the chips with curry
sauce is superb, and only $4.50. They bring you malt vinegar without you
having to ask for it - which i've never experienced in Canada before!
Wash it down with a few pints of Stella or Boddingtons...

Usually I find British-style Pubs in Canada a bit OTT with the whole British
theme, but this one reminded me of a good Pub back home but without the
tackiness. It even had a contingent of other Brits propping up the bar, so I
wasn't alone!

My local for sure if I get my PR (my girlfriend's house is 10 mins walk
away!)

Yes, but it's called the Rockway Restaurant not rockwood. It would
be where I would send you (being from Kitchener AND having lived on
British fish and chips for years over here in England)! Not too long
ago, you could still get the food in newspapers but I am not sure
you still can. And I do believe the possibility for mushy peas does
exist....

I know what you mean, I did find some of the cheapest pizza places a bit
skimpy on the toppings!

Pizza Hut is my favourite and a similar price to here in UK, I also loved
Mousse Winooski's (forgive the spelling), I love the way you can throw
peanut shells on the floor, my kids thought this was great, I found it hard
to do as I've been brought up not to drop litter, kept thinking someone was
going to come and tell me off !!!

I just love Canada!

Alison.

Mario's in Waterloo is quite a good deal, IMHO. 2 medium 4-topping pizzas, 2
lbs of wings, 2 garlic breads and salad or McCain frozen cake for under $30
including taxes..

I've found their pizza to be QUITE good. And with 4 toppings, you can
usually get the extra cheese as one of them, and still make a good pizza.

Well I remained polite but seeing as the political correctness police AKA
"Gunner" is here then I guess its time to remind him that this is an
"UNMODERATED GROUP"

You know what that means eh glummer. political correctness is OPTIONAL !

And judging by your responses so far I would guess you have far bigger
problems to deal with than my lack of P.C.

And yes I can and have used the word bindi and chinky to describe some of my
favourite foods in the UK. Bet you are one of those guys who don't say
Christmas in case it offends anyone !

Compare me to Hitler ? Hmmm your sense of humour seems a bit too warped for
me to follow there.

And sorry but with your attitude I am not your mate or "geezer" (playing the
southerner a bit heavy for effect eh ?) ! we might come from the same
country but that's where it ends

So you grew up in London WOW... what was hard about that ? keep growing and
you may mature.

Ah you really do show your colours in your last statement tell me to be P.C.
then jump into profanity.

I would go so far as saying that you are trying to elicit results similar to
the way a troll would.

Yup you got a response but now you have shown your true colours as a troll.

Oops sorry forgot to welcome you to the killfile.

Good bye TROLL.

I must have touched a nerve there, using names like that to
describe foods that you like, are you sure that is all you use it to
describe, you don't by any chance extend it to the people at all?

Yes i
grew up in London, a proper southerner, it doesn't come any more
multicultural than down there. We grew up with people people from all
races, unlike your little world up north where don't see what is going
on out there.

Well....welcome to canada my son, a country full of
immigrants, if you don't like it, why don't you go back to where you
come from. You are damn right we might have come from the same country,
but not the same part of the country, we are more tolerant down south.

You seem to use the word troll a lot, is that something you just heard
yesterday? Well...They don't come more mythical in your part of the word
than the troll do they?

I feel sorry for those that have to live with
you, a xenophobe, a racist and if i may add, a twat !
