Default Where do I send my I-130 package?

I'm a H-1B holder married to a US Citizen. We live in the jurisdiction
of the San Antonio office. I want to know what address I'm supposed to
send the I-130 and I-485 etc. package to. Since I'm already in the US,
the instructions say it should be sent to Chicago but a lawyer we had
contacted to find out about fees (which we realized were too expensive
to consider) said the processing would be in San Antonio. Can anyone
shed some light on this? Thanks.

Send it to Chicago, from there it will be sent to the office that will
be processing it.

What is your question? CIS told you that it will be sent to Chicago.
The local attorney told you it will be processed locally. You have the
information and it looks correct to me.

The instructions are correct. Send the whole AOS package to the Chicago
lockbox address. The lawyer is also correct, the processing of it will
be done at your local district office, San Antonio. So if you're
curious about processing times, look up your local office processing
times, not Chicago. By the way, the EAD and AP, if you apply for them,
will be processed at National Benefits Center (NBC).
