A Winnipeg woman is at her wit's end following an immigration foul-up
that saw her British-born husband's Canadian visitor status expire,
leaving him stranded indefinitely in the United States. Tricia
Grainger, 29, met her husband, Antony Viles, on the Internet three
years ago. The two were married here in Canada following a whirlwind
three-month courtship.
MAN BEING DEPORTED AFTER 52 YEARS IN CANADA
Though he knew he was a landed immigrant, Tyler never thought he needed
to obtain Canadian citizenship to stay in the country. For years he
worked as a truck driver and paid income taxes just like his
neighbours.
