Australia Australia is geographically the sixth-largest country in the world, and the only one to occupy an entire continent. Living in such a large country makes is difficult to find other expats. Connect with each other here.

Default What IELTS band do I need now?

Hi everyone, I have been following this forum since some time now. I am planning to immigrate to Australia. Some of my process is done. I am preparing for my IELTS now.

I got a letter from ACS saying that I am suitable for migration under 2231-79 of the ASCO code. I am nominated in General Skilled Migration application. This means I am not in MODL.

I have following questions now:

1. How many points do I already have?
2. How many points do I need in total to qualify for the PR?
3. How much do I need to score in IELTS to achieve those points.
4. I just got married (after the application). So will applying for my wife now will help me? If yes what is the process and extra fees for that.

Thanx for all the help I already got here.
