Default we got our receipts!! biometrics appt?

We got our receipts through the post today and the cheque for $935 has
been cashed.
I am happy that the wheels are finally starting to turn in this process,
i know its a long way yet but step one is done! *phew*!
Now we just have to have to wait for the biometrics appointment, anybody
have any idea how long this takes? We are in connecticut if that makes
any differance.

THanks in advance..

Every person is different from the next. I got my biometrics
appointment within 2mths where some waiting longer an some wait
shorter. It will come just know that you are different from the next
person so there is no way of exactly saying when you will get it.
Good luck

Probably longer than a couple of weeks, I'd give it more like 4 to 6
weeks at least.

I'm guessing the I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, and biometrics fee. Back
in 2004, our AOS package, without the I-130, was around $800....so I can
imagine 2 years later, including the I-130, it could be $935.
