Default We finally received police clearance!

Hi fellow migrants!

I want to thank everyone (especially post-July applicants) for your kind
words and encourangement during our wait for our police clearance.

We finally received our police clearance today after some kind of misun-
derstanding or gap in communication. (???) We heard today that it was
printed and released on 13 August. I am going to try to find out what
went wrong because we spent the last month in total agony and we could
have had it almost 2 weeks ago.

Our police clearance and other requested docs have to be in Adelaide by
1 September and DHL have 4 working days to deliver it there. I hope it
arrives safely in CO's hands!

How long do you think it will take until visa grant? I know that the
DIMIA are buzy with a huge backlog of MODL and STNI applicants and then
the pre-July applicants have also been waiting long for responses. We
don't have to lodge the bond.

Good luck to everyone that has been waiting long in antisipation
for response.

Which country was the police check for? If it was the UK, they have 40
days in which to supply it and your timeline suggests it is within that
time. I can't recall if you have previously posted which country you we-
re waiting for?
