Default visa / degree type stupid question i'm sorry

Hi to anyone reading this - and thanks in advance to anyone who could
point me in the right direction.

My head is spinning with so much conflicting information on skilled visa
migration and i would appreciate any advice on my current predicament.

My family and I ( 2 children 5 and 14 currently ) myself 35 and my wife
38 are fed up with UK life, working 14 hour days, and getting nowehere
fast. The more i seem to earn the worse off i become and i had a better
standard of living when i was 20 - a familiar scenario for many of you
guys who have left to make abetter life no doubt.

I have been working since the age of 19 in the wood based panel
product industry and curently occupy a position of Business
Development Manager for my company - with whom i have worked for 7
years. My job title and similar roles for Industrial Sales / Marketing
etc sits very ncely on the SOL.

Some people say that i definately will need a degree or diploma level
of post secondary education - others don't - as my work experience
will count.

Who is right / Who is wrong.

I need to ask myself whether i would be wasting my time to study as well
as work full time for a degree or diploma over the next 2/3 years. I am
not frightened of the work - merely not wishing to leave it longer than
i need to to try and start a better way of life.

I would desperately appreciate any advice you guys and girls could give
me as i frantically bang my head against the desk......

There must be a way....

Thanks.

It can't hurt to get your skills assesed to find out... they're pretty
cool about lack of qualifications vs experience in Oz. It'll cost a bit,
but at least you'll know

Hi guys,

The requirement of qualifications is dependent on the occupation you
choose to nominate and the assessing authority as for example in your
case, if you choose the occupation of Sales representattive (Industrial
Products), your assessing authority is VETASSESS and they will only
assess your qualifications
however, should you choose to nominate the occupation of sales and
marketing manager, the assessing authority is AIM, they will consider
work experience in lieu.

Cheers and good luck

Andre
