Default Validity of ACS Assessment Beyond 52 Weeks?

Hi all.

I am becoming increasingly worried about the current lag in the pre-July
136 visa processing and it's affect on the duration of validity of my
skills assessment.

We applied on 13/4/2004 BUT my successful ACS skills assessment is dated
25/3/2004. My worry is that if our processing goes beyond 52 weeks will
my ACS skills assessment become invalid and will I need to get my skills
re-assessed? I am hoping that the validity of the ACS skills assessment
remains static once the application has been successfully lodged.

My worst-case concern is that we will be required to re-apply for our
136 and this spell disaster as we barely made it with 115 points, before
the change.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers.

Your skills assessment only needs to be valid at the time of
application. If it expires while your visa application is being process,
it's not a problem.

So, no, you do not need to get a fresh assessment if it stretches
beyond 52 weeks.
