Default USCIS cannot locate I-751 receipt #

We filed I-751 form at the Texas Service Center in late June of this
year. We immediately received a receipt with a Receipt Number starting
with 'SRC'.

Today, I tried to find the status of my case on uscis.gov by entering
the receipt # on the appropriate page, but it gave me a message that it
is not a valid #. I tried it couple times and made sure that there is no
typo. I entered the alpha portion along with the #s, without the dashes.
I also called the 800 # and entered the receipt # over the phone, but
the system could not locate it.

I have not spoken to a representative yet, since it is Saturday. I will
call them on Monday.

Do you think they lost my case? I am worried, please help me with some
suggestions. Thank you.

They didn't lose your case. I-751's, for the most part, are not
trackable online or on the phone. Although recently, at some point in
the process (perhaps after biometrics are done?) it does show up on
line, for some people. But for now, don't worry...what you're
experiencing is very normal.

Best Wishes,
Rene

Hi!,

It is normal. We filed from TSC and awaiting approval and we cannot
check the 751 status online either.
