Egyptian Lost In Usa Emba

Dear All

I am not new to this room .

I am Egyptian and my wife is USC we got married in Egypt 3 years and 6
months.
my wife applied for spouse Visa in the USA embassy in Cairo jan2004.

after looooonngggg wating the file transferred to Athens Greece then
looonnnggg wating .
Athens denied the Case .

then we started the long Appeal trip .the Appeal had been sent to
Athens office based on the Letter that my wife received on Jul2005.we
got worried as we waited for long time without any news ,then we
started to contact Athens Feb2006 till Oct2006 to check for the Case
,all what we got from them that the case had been transferred to
Wash.DC

we contacted Wash DC and the people there was very helpful 100% ,they
informed my wife that the case is not in their office,and there is no
recoreds for our File .

we called Athens again and they confirmed that the case in Wash DC .
6Days ago my wife got a letter from Missori Center informing that the
Appeal has been dismissed because my wife had not sent the appeal
papers plus the evedince before the 30days ends .

my wife has all the proofs that show the serious mistakes that the
immigration offices did.
5days ago my wife got another letter from Wash DC informing our Case
Number . HaaHaa
by the way i guess that we had to receive this reciept Number "File
Number" for the appeal directly after filing .Is it correct?

so now we are confused and we do not know what to do ??

I seriously doubt that you will be able to sort this out on your own.
Consult a competent, experienced immigration attorney, preferably a
member of AILA.

Egypt,
Did Cairo embassy say they were sending the case back for
review/revocation? Did your wife originally file your petition in the
U.S. at a service center or was it filed as DCF directly in Cairo? Did
Cairo ever tell you why your case was denied? Has your wife contacted
her senator/congressperson for help to find out what is going on with
your case?
