I confess that the original post is now gone from my newsreader,
and it's rather a bit of trouble to retrieve it back, so I'll
admit that the emphasize may not be the OP's.

Someone did, and as I note elsewhere, I'm not sure it was the OP.
This is is now a multi-branched thread and sometimes comments
referring to one branch may end up in another.

And some of us here have reached the conclusion you are complete idiot -
perhaps we've made that, clear, too?

Well bully for you! Obviously, you got what you wanted - further
additions to the disdained "off topic" post, protesting your protest.
(Are you happy now?)

"Siezed"? "Baltant"? (When you're being insulting, it's wise to use
spell-check, not just hit "send" in the heat of the moment.) If all
Americans were like you, I think I'd be "anti-American" too! (And I was
born here!)

You should know, you sound like a charter member.

Judging by some of his/her past posts (never to any thead discussing
travel) I doubt whether the poster is capable of COMPREHENDING what he
reads!

In the case of Southern California, yes! (The fires, you know - smoke
pockets when there are surrounding mountains to contain it.) However, I
HOPE the subject poster is not a citizen here!

In that case, perhaps "US: Parents starved sons" might be clearer?
(Many newspaper writers appear to eschew proper punctuation, even though
the function of such is to clarify a statement.)

Good grief. There was absolutely nothing in that asshole's post
relating to European travel. There are plenty of places to discuss such
things. And an obvious troll, which has, as usual, succeeded in getting
a lot of people to start flaming each other. And you defend this
vandalism?
