Default Urgent Question About Medical Delay

I got my initial assessment and interview waiver on October 9, 2003
(It is dated Oct. 3, 2003) and they asked me to do medicals within 60
days. I have sent my and wife's passport to INS for visa revalidation
and yet has not come. My wife does not have any other ID. Now for
doing medicals I have to get my passport back. I have requested INS
for more then a month to returned them, but still has not got them.
Now I have taken appointment for medicals on Dec 2, 2003, provided I
would get my passports. I will inform CIC about the delay, if I don't
receive my passport on Dec 1. My question is will it in anyway affect
processing of my application?
Time line yet:
Application Sent : May 2002
AOR : Nov 2002
Interview Waiver : Oct 2003
Thanks,
Bocondo

I think you can do the Medical without passport.
I did the same and the Doctor never asked me.

I forgot passports for all of my family home... the doc in chicago never
asked for passport. they asked just a picture ID and our driver licenses
were ok with them...
