urgent: Extension on the visa date?

Hello all,

I and my husband got our PR visa couple of days ago, which is valid
until April 3, 2004. Our circumstances are such that we can not leave
USA for a couple of months, i.e. until August.
Is there any way that we can get the visa extension upto August?
If yes, then what are the reasonale grounds that you can request it.

Any comments are appreciated.

Nope, sorry. PR visa cannot be extended. You must land before expiration or
apply from scratch all over again.

You can kiss your pr visa goodbye if you can't make it by April 03.
