Default U.S Citizenship and Misdemeanors

Hello, i'm a 24yrs old male, living in nyc, don't really know too much
about immigration and things of that nature, but i'm a green card
holder who is looking to apply for the u.s citizenship, only problem
is i have 2 minor Misdemeanor charges on my record from my teenage
days, and i'm wondering what are the chances of getting the
citizenship being in such a position? would my mother being a
citizenship be of any help? and how much of difference would having a
lawyer make?

thanks in advance!

if the offense where commited while you where under 18
you can have
your record sealed and you dont have to disclose it to the INS as long
the offense where commited while you where under the age of 18

go to
the court and fill for a motion to have your juvenile record sealed

Get legal advice from an ALIA attorney. According to N-400
instructions all offenses are to be reported regardless of age. Even
those for which you were not caught.

Was she a citizen

As for the n-400.
