I have an Indonesian girlfriend that was going to visit me in the spring but her Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) was denied for the following reason:

"You have not satisfied me that you meet the requirement of
Regulation 179: that you would leave Canada at the end of temporary
period if you were authorized to stay. In reaching this decision I
considered your ties to your country of residence balanced against
factors which might motivate you to stay in Canada."

How can she find out what she need to do to show her ties? Is there anything else we can do to increase her chances of success? I guess marrying her would help but I didn't want to do that just for her to visit.
