Travel on a K1 visa after mirrage

Hi Wendell,

If you have not yet received your green card, you must apply for AP by
submitting form I-131, which takes about 2 months to receive, from what
I've heard.

Or, you can wait until you have your green card in hand, then you don't
need AP anymore.

Those are the options as far as I know.

I should mention that in order to qualify for AP, you must either submit
the I-131 along with your AOS paperwork, or after you have submitted the
AOS paperwork. You can't apply for AP *before* AOS.

Wendell,

The K1 visa is a 1 entry visa, so the only option other than a green
card or advance parole would be a new visa.

Another option is you can go someplace within the US on your honeymoon.
It's a big country and there are a lot of interesing places to travel to.
Florida, California, Hawaii, etc. Or you can go someplace which is a
territory of the US, like the US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico. My wife
came over on a K-1 and we went to Puerto Rico on our honeymoon. We had a
great time.
