Default Train Routes Florence

Hi,

We're taking a train to go from Rome to Florence, and another one to go from
Florence to Venice 2 days later. We're thinking of taking the fast Eurostar
train, but it would be awesome to take a scenic train route from which we
could see a bit of the Tuscan countryside. Does anyone know if there is one?

Thanks,
Karen

I write you from Tuscany. If you want to see tuscan landscapes you must take
a train to Grosseto from Termini Railway Station in Rome (the main line is
Rome - Pisa - Genoa). Then you have to take a diesel train from Grosseto to
Siena that is a really scenic train in a unknown tuscan landscape of hills
and lonely countryside small railway stations of Grosseto and Siena
provinces. From Siena to Florence there are lot of daily trains or buses and
the service is pretty good.
Trains are slow but the impressive landscapes you can watch are unique and
not known by the majority of the foreign tourists.
I can answer you for further details.
Ciao
Ricky
