Hi Martin,
have you gone the $300 or the $500 dollar route for your skills
assesment?

Have you found anything out about what you will likely get
wage wise?

Jon

Hi we have gone the $500 way just to speed things up as
for wages it will be a lot less than here, something like $60.000 to
$80.000 but as we are looking to go to SA the cost of living is less as
is the cost of housing ...............the only thing that's not less is
the sun :0)

I think around Adelaide I have frend who is an ozzy who
lives Dinnington, his dad is looking around for us plus I keep trawling
the internet but I think I need to get my TRA back before I move on to
the serious job hunting. We will have to go for a  somtime and
compare notes.

We havnt got any notes yet, just lots of dreams :) and
nightmares about all the paperwork, but we are heading there next August
to see some friends that are going there in 7 weeks or so (not
jealous....... cough cough) . will have a decent look around then, to
see if Australia is the new home for us :) .
Untill then it is just
general research, asking lots of questions and reading about all the
pro's and con's of moving/living there.
