Default TRA-Anyone had good news yet?

Hi

Just wondered if anyone who applied for their skills assessment with
the TRA in March/April have heard yet.

We have been waiting 15 weeks

So please TRA hurry

Hi Daihla

We know exactly what you're going through as we are going through the
same.
We applied end of April, 13 weeks this thursday.
We are still
waiting.
Our agent did ring TRA last week but they still haven't
returned her call yet.

Graham

Hello

We sent ours 18th March and still have had no reply, we are
getting anxious now, we e-mailed them about 2 weeks ago but received no
reply. Post lady has been today and nothing.

It is a really horrible
thing waiting as you just want to get things moving, and if it does come
back declined then you have another long wait. Someone did write on
here that they heard TRA were taking 4-5 months, but I dont know how
true that is.

Good luck

Jenn

Is your skills assessment fast tracked?

Yes it was fast tracked. We also used an agent, (glen newton) because my
husband has been a bricklayer for about 8 years however he only has NVQ1
& NVQ 2 and apparently the tra like tradesmen to have NVQ3. We got lots
of excellent references that read like a instruction manual and ross's
statement was also very good.

Glen newton has a gret reputation as he
was the former head of the tra, however you just cant help thinking the
worst when it seems to be taking so long.

Good luck to you all and keep
us updated.

You have the best man for the job. Glenn is doing my skills assessment,
via TRA of course.

What has Glenn advised on your outcome? Does he
think that you will pass ok?

How did you get on with AIM.....your last post said that they were
trying to get intouch with Trish's boss.....were they successful? Are
they reviewing it?....................Are you going to appeal?

Thinking
of you

Hi this is my first attempt at a reply so forgive me if
it all goes horribly wrong, firstly hi to graveyman.....secondly we
applied to the TRA at the very start of March and did'nt get a reply
until the very end of June(approved),we emailed them as we did'nt get
any acknowledgement at all and they were very prompt with the reply ,we
asked for a timescale and they just said at present it is taking 3
months.
Where my hubby works two people are still waiting and they both
applyed in April, good luck to you all.

Hi,

We sent ours on the 20th April and are still waiting. Keep thinking
it will be any day now, but then the next thought is what if he doesn't
pass ?? Don't know what we will do. Our agent said there was nothing
else we could have included to help any more, Mark is a brickie and has
worked for the same company for 16 years, no qualifications though. Just
keeping fingers crossed ..

Jo
