I'm pretty sure that they've listed out as to what & how many
documnets they need.
This is not "immigration" where 'sending more information' would be
helpful. They know you as such, they've records of everything that you
would be sending. So, when you are sending them, you are merely
re-confirming your identity.
So, final advice - submit what has ben asked for, no more, no less.

It even depeneds on the area that you've submitted, yes even within
TO.
This year, 2003, they are very fast and efficient. I;ve seen peole
aplyig in June, writing exam in August, and became citizen by early
Sept.
