Hi Bex,
By taking a quick look at austimeline you would learn that a relatively
greate percentage of applicants wish frontloaded meds asked to send some
additional information, not sure why, but this looks as a fact if you go
through mant applicants profiles.
But my suggestion :
Follow exactly what we did!, you may easily guess the time you will be
requested to undergo meds (send blank email to aspc...), just a week
before that day print meds forms (can be obtained in this forum), visit
the panel doctor and ask him to complete the tests, normally he will
accept to hold the results for about 1 month (which is negotiable). Then
as soon as you receive her/his email requesting meds post them to Sydney
LCU (ofcourse courier).
By This, you will get it done, and more than likely you will not be
asked for additional information (on this, of course).
Hope this helps you.

Good luck,

We frontloaded, we never put our receipts in with the PCC and we got our
visas today, we never got an email saying we had a CO. The first we
heard was the email saying we had our visa.

Good luck

Nah, I've added to this thread because I have had some emails asking
about frontloading recently. I'm bumping the thread so people can
get the info.

I've put my news in the July thread. Onto the next hurdle now!

Suggest you think about the pros/cons of your individual application....
you can usually then work out if the time saved on the timeline to grant
of visa is worth the possible increased risks.

My meds were frontloaded and I estimate it saved approx 6 weeks because
the waiting time for meds where I wanted them was particulary high at
that time.

I didn't frontload and I reckon it removed a lot of stress . Thinking
have they got they have they not etc !

I just let the system run its course. It seems a much smoother process
this way .

Saving yourself the pain this end of the visa process does remove the
burden but increases the burden if and when you get the visa because you
have less time to arrange moving out there.

Patience is a virtue.

Hi Bex,

My agent has told me wait for my meds also, until I have been asked
for by DIMA.

I have been worried that maybe I agent knows something that I don't and
thinks that I may not have a chance, therefore advising me not to do
anything, I hope im wrong!!

Don't worry, I am sure there is nothing wrong! Patience really is a
virtue (of which I have none!!) We decided to frontload eventually but
got a CO assigned 2 days later!! Meds arrived in Oz 6/12/06. Still not
heard and I am paranoid! Work out your timeline and make an educated
guess when they may be requested.
