Default To Andrew Miller re points

Hi Andrew

I wonder if you can help. My daughter is going to apply for permanent
residence and after completing the online assessment she gets 76 points
but she has a 1 year old daughter will they deduct points from her?

I hope you can advise me.

Many thanks

No, there is no points deduction for having children. Where did you get such
idea from?

Please note that many make mistakes or use wrong (or too many) assumptions
when doing self-assessment on CIC website - some in their favor, others
against. You may ask your daughter to email me directly for free,
comprehensive evaluation of her chances.
