Hi,

My fiance is petitioning an I-129F through TSC, going off to them in
the next couple of days. www.aila.org has processing times, but
bearing in mind that someone from California has just been approved
after 10 months, and the processing times on aila for CSC show May, it
begs the question as to whether aila is showing an accurate
representation of the daily occurances in the strange and murky world
of the service centres.

I am resigned to a waiting period of 6-9 months (it's feeling like the
twilight zone already), but there must be other people out there who
are going through Texas at the moment? Come out of the woodwork, all
of you! I'd love to hear your timelines (good, bad or otherwise).

I'm dreading the whole process - up until now this newsgroup has
answered so many questions for me - but I guess this one is one of the
biggies.

Has anyone ever seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Perhaps the
Service Centres are staffed by Oompa Loompas - noone gets to speak to
a human direct... noone ever leaves and noone ever arrives.

I just sent in my I-129F to the TSC and it was received on Oct. 1st. The
stated waiting period for them to process it is 150-180 days. I am hoping to
hear something by March but we'll see.......
