Default tax return with Form 1099

Im a little bit confused about the tax return for self-employed. Why is
that after filed the tax returns or form 1040 it didnt shows the W-2s
there nor even attach but the form 1099. How true is it that self-
employed have Form 1099 only and not the W-2 earnings? Do i need to
submit the Tax returns or Form1040 with his Form1099 or MiSC 1099?...
What do you think is the best to submit, the original or the photocopy
of this tax returns?

Hi All,

If You're Self Employed SSA Publication No. 05-10022

http://www.ssa.gov/pubs/10022.html

How To Report Earnings

You must complete the following federal tax forms by April 15 following any
year in which you have net earnings of $400 or more:

Form 1040 (U.S. Individual Income Tax Return);
Schedule C (Profit or loss from Business) or Schedule F (Profit or Loss
from Farming) as appropriate; and
Schedule SE (Self-Employment Tax).

Even if you don't owe any income tax, you must complete Form 1040 and
Schedule SE to pay self-employment Social Security tax.

Best would be to go to a tax service to tell you what is correct. Self
employed can be a tough tax return. Go pay someone who knows. It will save
you time, money and heartache.

You don't have the original tax return to submit.
The original return would have been sent to IRS.

A copy of the return should be sufficient. 1099's are not sent with the
return, so I don't think CIS would need them. I don't even know why IRS
wants you to send in W-2s when your employer has electronically sent
them to IRS anyway.
