Default Strange: Dependent case approved while primary applicant not yet approved (EB-I485)

I applied EB-Based AOS on 12/01.

My child's online status showed "approved" as per online status track and
AVM from yesterday (1/15/04) noon time.

But myself (prime applicant) and my spouse's status is still " RFE received
on 12/11/03". However, my son did not get any RFE. His online status check
before was "on 8/xx/03, we received your fingerprint........". Is there
anybody experienced this situation before? Just fell wired why my child's
case approved first.

Could this be BCIS error?

It truned out that my case along with my spouse's case got approved
a week later on 1/21/04.

One question: when will the 5 years clock begin ticking for citizenship
application?

From date that I-485 approval notice is issued or from the date that I
actutually (physically) get the plastic card?

The date the I-485 was approved. The Green Card should also list the same
date (although sometimes, they make a mistake there).
