Default sponsorship - student visa question

Hi,

I am sponsoring my wife to join me in Canada. Our file has been at
CHC London since June 4th. Our eclient shows nothing but that our
file is in process. No other updates of any kind. We haven't gotten
any interview waivers or anything else. My wife wants to finish her
university studies, and we thought about her coming to a school here
in Canada as a visa student. We have the following questions:

1. Would that affect our file in any way?
e.g. - would we be required to change the location of the processing
of our file?

2. Would it be hard to get a student visa?

regards,
B&Y.

It would be hard for your wife to get a student visa at this time. You do
not give enough information to really figure out what is happening with your
file. I presume that you submitted a complete file including the medical
examination certificate? If so processing may be nearly complete depending
on your wife's citizenship.
