Default Sponsorship

What is the deal with the sponsorship that is specified on the PR
application form? Do I absolutely have to have a sponsor? If so, who
would qualify as a sponsor? Thanks...

What application kit are you referring to? Did you get the proper one?

If you are an independent applicant in Skilled Workers class you need to get
all forms, guides and visa post specific instructions from here:

Yes, I have gotten those forms. But the IMM5476 asks all about
sponsorship, can I assume I don't need a sponsor since I am applying under
the Skilled Workers class?

IMM 5476 is the authority you are giving to CIC to release information to
your sponsor or representative if you have one. It is being used in all
classes if applicant has a representative or is being sponsored - if you do
everything on your own then you don't need to complete this form at all.

Okay, that answers the question. I'm doing it all myself. Thanks...
