Sponsoring Parents
I recently moved to Canada as a PR. I am married and have a daughter. I
started working in May, and my income so far has been only about $30,000 for 2006, although my annual salary is $60,000. When should I apply for sponsoring my parents? Should I do it right now or should I wait to file my tax return for 2006 before applying? When would CIC actually verify my income? My parents are in India. What are the timelines for sponsorship/immigration? Thanks for all your valuable inputs. |
