Default Should we get it?

Hi guys,
We got an email from USCIS saying that our approval notice has been sent
(on our I-751), before that we got an email saying that the new card
production has been ordered (we already got the card). Anyway, we still
havent received the approval notice, should we worry about that?
thanks

When did you receive the most recent email telling you that your
approval notice had been sent?

It was on the 13-th of December, is it too early to get worried?

In my opinion, yes. Especially since it's the holidays and they slow
down considerably until after the new year. Relax and don't bother
worrying about it until then!

You will have no use for the approval notice since you already received
the 10 year green card. So, you tell me, what is there to worry about?
Have a Merry Christmas!

Hmm, I missed the bit about already having the card. If I had noticed
that I would've responded differently. So, my new response is: Don't go
looking for problems that don't exist!

Relax and just be happy that you're done with this stage of the game!

Since we were in the same batch and both at CSC, I have my 10yr GC and
hence don't really care about the NOA/approval notice.

And the other thing I noticed was that the paper the GC came stuck on
had I797 on the top and was worded as if it was a generic "Your
application has been approved - here is your GC". So maybe that acts as
the NOA that your I751 appliction has been approved.
