Default Sharing Police Reports and Medicals

Hi,

Could I ask a question about the possibility of sharing Police Clerances
and Health Checks between two Permanent Residency Applications ?

Is it allowed to send only one set of those documents and
request both case officers to share them ?

My offshore application has reached the stage of medical/police
clearance request. However, it takes 6-8 months to get a police
clearance from my country. So, I prefer to continue with my
Onshore application, so that I can stay in Australia.

Thank you for your comments and advice
regards
Ranga

Personal opinion is that it would be
unlikely that they would agree to this. Bureaucracy likes to make
things simple for themselves even if it causes dificulties to "the
public" or makes no sense.

I'm doing something very similar.

I have a 137 visa going through and
expect the med and police requests in the next couple of weeks.

I also
have a sponsored 457 visa going through at the moment, and have obtained
two sets of police checks, but only one set of full medicals, (we only
need X-Rays for the adults under the 457, but full meds for the
children) but for logistic purposes did the whole lot in one go.

The
medicals will go to Sydney in with a covering letter requesting them to
be forwarded to Adelaide once the 457 is complete. My migration agent
didn't think that this would be a problem.
