It isn't compulsory to send it, but it does help DIMIA and the Australian
Bureau of Statistics in keeping track of where migrants go, their English
language ability and education levels. The information is used by the
various authorities to estimate what level of various services are required
and where.
The form isn't available on the net, but is usually forwarded by DIMIA when
you are close to grant.
