offices two weeks ago and did receive the news that our case is under
security review since December.

about that since my U.S. fiance has a criminal background. I, the
foreign fiancee, have a clean record, no visa overstays or anything like
that. But my fiance is on supervised release after a prison sentence. We
assume that this is the reason for the security review.

Michelle's experience at the end of November, but could not find any
other threads about her case. So, can anyone update me about how long it
took for her and what is going on with her case? I am interested to see
how long such a security review could take and what could have been the
reason for it in her case.

From
what I remember of Michelle's Case, they were under investigation for
visa fraud. The only reason they found out was because Herb (the USC)
contacted his Congressional Rep. I don't know if they ever found out why
they were sent through this investigation, but they did pass after about
a month I think?? Back then, I believe her userid was Michelle&Herb -
may want to confirm my info above.
As far as I know, it had absolutely
nothing to do with a prison sentence as I don't think either of them had
priors.
