Default Scarborough Timeline for Citizenship

Here is my timeline at Scarborough Office. Please share your timelines
too.

I also wonder how long it may take between the test and the ceremony.

*****

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of
citizenship) on April 1, 2006.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and
a study book called A Look at Canada on April 1, 2006.

We started processing your application on June 29, 2006.

Your file was transferred to the Scarboro Citizenship office on August
2, 2006. The Scarboro Citizenship office will contact you if additional
information is required. The Scarboro Citizenship office will contact
you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on
your file are complete.

We sent you a notice on August 25, 2006 to YOUR ADDRESS to appear and
write the citizenship test on September 21, 2006. The notice you will
receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment.
If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your
scheduled appointment, please contact us. If we have sent the letter to
the wrong address, please contact us.

Hi,
I just phoned the 888-242-2100 number and they told me that in
Scarborough between the test and the oath there is a 6 months waiting
period, compared to Toronto where is only 7 weeks. Can anybody confirm
that?
Regards
Albert

Hi Albert,
I do not know Toronto but for Scarborough office the call center says
1-6 months!!!.
Seems like there is more delay then said on test date.
Keep your fingers crossed.
