residence return visa

I have a peramenent residence of Australia ( Subclass 136). I have been in
Australia once in 2002, but since then I have been working and living in US.
The visa expries on 16 May 2007. I have been looking for jobs in Australia
and would like to return to Australia in near future. Does anybody know if
i am eligible for Five Year Resident Return Visa (Subclass 155) ?

As far as I understand it you have to at least show some commitment to
Australia. How can you prove that if you haven't lived here since 2002?

Probably not if you can't prove ties to Australia, eg job and home etc
