They are usually a last ditch effort, if all else fails.
As Rene has mentioned, you can go with what you have and include a
letter stating the obvious. You are both border residents and as such
can easily drive across the border to visit one another without having
to get an I-94 and that you stay in each other's homes when together so
there is no need for a hotel bill, etc.
If any of the photos are from family gatherings, include them and
indicate who is who in the photograph and their relationship to one or
the other of you.
Look through your purse for any receipts for: gas, clothing,
restaurants, etc. from his area and he can look through his collection
of receipts for anything from your town. Receipts usually have the
name, address and date on them.
Good luck and it is not the end of the world, really. The next thing
you see one another start collecting new evidence. Save receipts, take
photos with a newspaper in from of you. Take pictures in front of well
known landmarks.
