Removal of condition

A question about removal of condition.
I've got married (my wife US citizen) in february 2002.
In april 2003 we have applied for a green card. Obtained the card in 4
weeks and we entered teh US in june 2003.
I know we have to apply for the removal of condition. When to apply?
on the document they gave us at the airport they mention between 21
and 24 months since I'm a resident in the US. In some documents I've
found on the web they mention instead between 21 and 24 months of
marriage?
which one is the correct one?

You must apply two years after the date you became a permanent resident (e.g
sometime in June 2005) and can apply 90 days prior to that date. Any
websites that say otherwise are wrong but, IMHO, most are not wrong - they
are just unclear. Usually it's because they are confusing about the other
two year rule - namely that you get conditional residence if you become a PR
prior to the second anniversary.
