Default Re: sister's birth certificate

I am trying to get the docs together to apply for a skilled designated
area visa which involves me being sponsored by my half-sister in
melbourne. She has just told me that she has found her birth
certificate, but its a 'short form' version which doesn't provide
details of her parents. I assume therefore that she'll have to send off
to the UK for a certified copy of her full birth certificate otherwise
there won't be any way of proving that we both have the same father?
Also, when she finally has all the docs and forms sorted out that she
needs to send in to sponsor me, does she send them to dimia directly or
will it be necessary for her to send them to me to be submitted at the
same time as my full application?

Hi
Baron,

Yes, she needs the full birth certificate, and yes, the form 40
needs to be submitted with your form 47SK.

cheers,

A completed form 28 (assurance of support) with supporting
documentation must also be completed at time of application for this
visa.

I had to get a full UK birth certificate recently for my boyfriend
who's got dual citizenship. It was quite easy he paid over the phone
from Oz with his credit card. This link should help.
