If you overstayed your visa already you cant leave the country not unless you got your conditional GC. The process might take as short as 3 months or as long as 2 years depending on where you are and how much is the backlog the Immigration office the state you are in.

I've noticed on a couple of threads now, the answers aren't getting
posted into the thread which contains the question!
