we need to send a change of details for the kids passports 9just had
them renewed) - does anyone know if we need to send certified copies of
the new passports; the change of details form just asks for the relevant
info, not proof of....??

It's better if you can send them certified
copies of your new passport's personal data page(s).

Remember that you
were asked to provide that in the first place in your initial
application, so when you renewed your passport, it's only logical for
you to send them the updated copies. Why the reluctance?

no reluctance - just the mither of getting it certified - although i
think i have found a friendly magistrate.....if thats possible!!
