Default A question to the experts-two sponsorship processed in parallel

Is it possible to be sponsored as a spouse if I already have a skilled
worker application in process?

will I need to withdraw the skilled worker application first, before
submitting the family class application?

The skilled worker file is in Buffalo and it is 17 months into the process.

I was notified it will be transferred to Detroit.

I heard that CPC-M/Tel Aviv can finalizing a routine spousal sponsorship
case in 5-10 months.

What is my best bet?

Yes, you need to withdraw other application if you want to be sponsored.

Dear Sir,

If I submit the new sponsorship application without withdrawing the skilled
worker one, which section of the IRPA or the regulations will CIC use to
refuse the application?
