Just a quick question about the online status on EAD's.



I had my biometrics for the EAD on the 8th of november and since then,
the online status reads as such "Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT
AUTHORIZATION was received on October 23, 2003. We mailed you a receipt
with information about processing. It is taking between 30 and 90 days
for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon
as processing is complete." I then had my biometrics for AOS on the
21st of november and the online case status for that reads "On
November 28, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485
Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were
received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."



So should the EAD online status change to what is now said on my
AOS online status? or does the EAD status always remain as above
until approved?



For the record, I did biometrics for EAD and AOS at different times,
because we didnt send the $50 dollar fingerprinting fee with the
original AOS package.

I had my EAD and AOS biometrics taken on different days too.

As far as I know you don't receive any other message until it is
approved online and later it will change to tell you that your EAD is in
the mail. Those are the only two status reports I got re: EAD. I
received my EAD the same day the status changed letting me know it was
in the mail!

documets in the mail, and what state or service center you are
applying in
