Qeustion for Experts re: Police Certificate Confusion

I applied for my wife's immigration in March 2003, and the
Pakistan-ISB center just sent a letter to her saying she should bring
documents etc. One of the items on that letter says:

d. Please provide a Police Clearance Certificate issued by the Senior
Superintendentof Police of your district.

But the thing is, we already provided a Police Character Certificate
original with the initial application. It was called "Police Character
Certificate" (on the police supplied form at least) . Is it the same
thing as "Clearance Certificate"

I would appreciate if some of the experts could shed some light if possible?

You shold just do as they ask. It is the easiest way. Go to the police
superintendant and ask for the police clearance certificate.
