Default Processing Dates going backwards

I continually check the website
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/js...nterÃ?lifornia
to see how many more months I have to wait until my case might get
processed. (I-129F) Last month they were working on May 2006, now they
are back to April. Does this just mean maybe that they had a file that
they had to wait on more information and has went back to this or what?
Or does this type of thing happen often?

From reading this news group it appears it happens often.
In our case the date listed did not mean a thing.

Watching the processing dates is the first step on the road to madness!
Stop it... the dates are meaningless.

I know, I know...I believe it to be more addictive than crack. Maybe we
can start a support group...

Hi:

A bunch of cases from other backlogged Service Centers were transferred
to CSC for adjudication not so long ago.

Do not think about it. Wait until next time they publish new dates. It
happened to me aslo.

Crap, I was maybe gaining hope to see our case transfered there "in
order to speed processing"...
