Default problems with IMM 5406 ( additional family members )

Hello,

I am preparing an application for Canadian Permanent Residency. However, I see that all members of my immediate family are required to be detailed on form IMM5406 ... and that parents are listed on IMM 0008. However, I am not in contact with my immediate family, nor do I wish that they be notified in any fashion regarding me, or my application for Canadian permanent residency. I'll not submit the application, if that is required.

I'm not looking for commentary or advice regarding my family situation. But I would like to know if there are any options for filing this application without members of my immediate family being contacted/notified? If I attach a letter to the application explaining my circumstances, and requesting that my family members not be contacted, would it be heeded throughout the process?

Regards,

They will not be contacted. But you must submit completed IMM 5406 anyway.
