Thanks Sel and Bed Of Roses.

Bed of Roses. Nice to hear from you again. Long time no hear. What are
you up to nowaday? Are you out there?

Not quite sure why my case took so long, but I have a sneaking suspision
that my first CO (who disappeard on indefinite leave in May) had a lot
to do with that.

I must admit, it has been hard to keep it all together at times, but the
other pre-Julyers have been fantastic, as we all were before, it's just
we had a change of shift around April when most of the you other got
your visas.

Hello and Good Morning,

I no the time posted is early, but we are still in the yUK.

We are off last week of October to Brissy. Its all systems go!
We will be staying down near to coolnagata a place called Bilinga found
a resort style set of apartments down that way.
The guys that own the the place have been fantastic and have laid most
things on for us for our arrival, even getting us some shopping in for
when we arrive. You gotta have a cup of tea when you get "home", or a
cold one!
we will be stopping there for a month try and have a break right on the
beach tooooo!!!
Whilst we are there do the usual buy a car then start the long scout of
the Gold coast areas inc inland areas like Tamborine etc.
We are after acerage of about 5 acres min, gotta get it sorted as the GG
arrives in early January and we gotta have somewhere for him to go cant
put him in the back yard or on the beach wont go down to well with the
neighbours .
In the meantime hope the dam house sells over here! Got contracts
infront of me to sign now but the people buying have lost there sale so
its very frustrating at the min.
Whats your plans i see your homeless so i guess Hampshire is a dim and
distant memory?

We completed on our place on 24 August and so the Family and I are
splitting our time between the 2 sets of parents places. With 3 kids,
it's a bit of a bind. We took them to EuroDisney last week which went
down a treat.

I was starting to worry having sold the house and put my stuff into
storage. Luckily I made sure that my removal company would offer free
storage for a while over here, and I made full use of that. Nice to know
that I can get it shipped now. Just need to get a photocopy of my visa
to them and it should be on the next ship heading downunder.

I've still got some work commitments, so I am staying at a friends house
during the week and returning to the family during the weekend. The bulk
of that work finishes at the end of this week leaving just 2 days which
I will do just before I make the move to Perth on 2nd October.

I've heard a lot of people having trouble with house sales recently. I
think the market has definitely platued and seems to be pretty shaky
now. I'm sure it will all turn out well. These things usually do.

Sorry JoJo, Missed your reply. Thanks for the info. What is it like in
Bangkok? Is there much to do/see and is it safe?

Hi Youcanlaugh,

Don't worry about safety, it is quite safe here. If u are new to
Thailand, a lot temples and palaces to visit. Or you may opt for some
beach resorts to relax.

Jojo
