Default Pre Grant Received

We received our pre visa grant advice this week which also requested our
assurer lodge bond.

Just one question - in the letter it asks where we would like the visa
grants evidenced. In our original application we ticked the box for
Adelaide, but are now thinking of sending to the AHC in London.

Has anyone else been in the same situation or could offer some advice on
how best to proceed.

Thanks

Morg

We have also just received our Pre Visa Grant and presume by evidenced
they mean put into our passports?

If so it would have to be London wouldn't it?

It also mentions not being able to do it in person, does that mean you
can post them to Australia House?

If so when do we send them?

Don't send your passport to Adelaide if you want to get it back
anytime soon!

Send it to the AHC London (using a secure way to send it and get it
sent back - eg a courier - don't trust the regular post).

Sending to Adelaide is not advisable if you're offshore.

Evidenced = getting the visa stamp in your passport.

Could be any DIMIA office offshore. If you're in the UK, then London
is likely to be most convenient.

You can post them. I believe it's possible to send by courier and use
a pre-paid courier envelope to have them returned. Passports are too
important to be sent through ordinary post.

Thanks for the advice. I actually received an email this morning from
our case officer as i had emailed our passport details as they requested
in the pregrant letter.

In it they said that it was not possible to send passports to Adelaide
and to use the AHC in London.

Almost there now - our assurer is lodging the bond this week .

Boy, am I going to enjoy Xmas this year now!!

Cheers
