Default PR filed - Got a letter, help?

Questions are posted below some information.

Sponsoring my American Husband, I am Canadian. We moved back to Canada on March of this year from the States. I have dual Citizenship.

We both got letters from CIC.

Mine stated that I met all the eligibility requirements as a sponsor.

His stated that we needed to provide updated information.
1.His work history from Sept 1997 to present, (he is working in the USA still)
2.His addresses since Apr of this year (2007)
3. Military service including your rank, unit and locations of service from 1984

AS WELL it said he was eligible to apply for a work permit here in Canada. His company is global and has a head office here in Canada. He can transfer with about a 30 day notice.

ONLINE STATUS (For him)
We received your application for permanent residence on April 24, 2007.

We started processing your application on May 3, 2007.

Medical results have been received.

We sent you a letter on November 6, about approval in principle for you to become a Permanent Resident of Canada. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

-------------------------------------------------------
My questions are;

1. We fill in this updated form, then where or how do we proceed from here? We have already given this information to them. If approved do they just notify us?

2. Is there a reason they are asking for information again?

3. He is uncertain about his military locations exactly, he can't remember exact months and dates. He obtained a copy of his military records DD-214, but it doesn't have his where abouts or exacts dates. . We provided them with a copy of that when we sent in his original paper work. AND he can't remember all his information. His service record contains some information but NOT exact dates or where he lived. He can't remember dates of his exact locations. Nor when he was promoted exactly.
Sooo, what do we do in that case? Guess as close as he can?

Thanks
Canasa
